History

The Beginning
From our office in Spring Garden Philadelphia we have a great view of Center City and an unbeatable office culture. It’s from this awesome view and our renovated, historic old bicycle factory from the 1880s that we specialize in per diem staffing, contract assignments, contract-to-hire and direct hire placements for nursing assistants as well as other nursing professionals.

Brett Shay’s path to CareBridge 360 started far before the company was actually established. It started in 2020 when he saw a deficiency in the way nursing assistants start out, and that is in the training for CNAs. In the midst of the pandemic, he created CareBridge Academy, a CNA school right in the heart of Philadelphia that sought to not only do training better, but to mold champions of the industry. After a year of innovation and development, CareBridge Academy quickly became the biggest nursing assistant training program in Philadelphia. We not only attract but also train the brightest nurse aides in the region.

With a pool of newly minted CNA graduates every month, he decided to forge ahead with creating jobs and career path opportunities for the best and brightest new nursing assistants. By training them from the ground up, our CareBridge Champions start their careers with good habits and a solid training foundation, and the organization had the unique opportunity to get them up and running right away to make a positive impact on the facilities they serve.

For Carebridge 360, he saw the opportunity to run a company differently than other agencies out there. The team visits facilities to ensure they always have what they need (including the occasional snack). CareBridge 360 is responsive to the needs of both clients and employees, and that is what we pride ourselves on more than anything.

Today, we’re one of the fastest growing companies in Philadelphia and we’ll put in that same legwork — and more — no matter what day it is.
